Scheme was designed in 1996 – 28 years old
Currently administered by Lekki Scheme II Residents Association (LESTRA) registered with the CAC as an Incorporated Trustee (ITN 54400) on 12 July 2012
Coverage Area
Land area of 514.53 hectares with 3,095 residential, 64 commercial, 47 mixed development, 26 institutional & 17 recreational plots
The Vision
A secure, well-run, clean community with good power supply (minimum 20 hours a day), good water works connection, good roads, drainages, well cared for green spaces with sports facilities and good walkways

Our Priorities
- Funding/block leakages –Security dues, levies etc. & deal with illegitimate levy collectors, build partnerships on environmental and other matters
- Secure the Scheme –Fence & Gate Committee – security at clusters and generally – CSO, Security Committee Patrols, security fees, cluster contributions to security fees, residents’ database, deal with incursions from communities, secure porous areas – how?
- Set up office at Recreation Square – get a container, fence, clear the place, get a generator etc. Work with the committee for doing this and find partners
- Strengthen Admin – HR & Procurement Committee – Calls for proposals & vendor register
- Light up the Scheme – Streetlights, proper lighting a Gates
- Water, Environment & Sanitation- tree planting, grass clearing & street cleaning, green areas, water plant
- Have strong PR & media visibility – website, SM etc., Newsletter

8.Water, Environmental & Sanitation Committee (clean water, environment for our safety – dealing with trash etc)
9.Recreation Square Committee (set up our Recreation Square)
10.Procurement & HR Committee (handle vendor registration, calls for proposals, staffing etc)
11.Media, Publicity & Socials Committee
12.Residents’ Database/Membership Committee (help us know who we have in the estate – maintain a register renewed annually)
